Previous Daily Devotional About letting the infinite be your healing force… Luke 9:10 When the apostles returned, they reported to Jesus what they had done. Then he took them with him and they withdrew by themselves to a town called Bethsaida, 11 but the crowds learned about it and followed him. He welcomed them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who needed healing. (NIV) We all have wounds inflicted upon us as we move through life. When we are wounded, we need a healing force to come into our life and activate the healing mechanisms of our heart, mind, body, and soul. God is a healing force. God's love heals every wound if we are willing to bring His love into our heart. In trying to find healing for our wounds, we must seek out God in all His many forms. In trying to find our own healing, we must seek out ways to be a healing force for others. For God does not reward selfish seeking of His healing power. God's healing power flows through us only when we are willing to be a conduit or pipe for His healing power to flow into the lives of others. Many of the mysteries of God's healing and infinite power are found when we sacrifice our heart, mind, soul, and body for the healing of others. Many of the mysteries of God remain hidden and mysterious when our seeking is done only for our own betterment. |
