About letting the infinite touch your pain…
Matthew 4:24 News about him spread all over Syria, and people brought to him
all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the
demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the paralyzed, and he healed them.

When we are broken and hurting it may seem there is no way our pain can be
made to go away. However, we are wrong in thinking our pain cannot be erased. We
are wrong in thinking there is no way our pain can be erased because God has
infinite power and His infinite power of love can make your pain as if your pain
never was. Our pain does not stay with us because God wants us to suffer. Our pain
stays with us because Satan causes our suffering and our faith does not
comprehend the infinite will of God to erase Satan's work. Our hurt is nothing
compared to the power of God to erase our hurt. Our pain is greater than a
trillion times the power of God to erase our hurt if we do not point our will in
God's direction for our will. However, the power of God to erase our pain is
greater than a trillion times the power of Satan who makes our pain.
Consequently, if we point our will in the direction of God's will, no amount of
pain can stop His power. No matter how much we hurt, our will, aligned with His
will, can give us His power to endure any pain, endure any suffering, and still
live, still rejoice, and still praise God for His love. |
