About living in upward soaring adoration…

Song 8:7 Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot wash it away. If one were to give all the wealth of his house for love, it would be utterly scorned. (NIV)

We can all come to a point in our life and in our spirit when we do not have words to express our joy, express our gratitude, or express our love for God. We can all come to a point in our life when all of our spirit soars upward in adoration for God. When our spirit soars upward in adoration, there is then a spiritual power taking us out of our physical problems, cares, and worries as this spiritual power sends us higher and higher. Eventually, at the end of our life, if we have accepted Christ as our Savior and Lord, we will sail higher one last time…sailing up to Heaven where we will live forever with Him. While we are alive on the earth, if we think intently enough, if we worship deep enough, if we reflect in total humility enough, and if we meditate upon the glory of God enough, our spirit can experience the spiritual power of upward soaring adoration. We can soar upward in adoration for a minute. We can soar upward in adoration for a minute and a half. As we grow in the wisdom of how much God loves us and blesses us, even in our pain and darkest hour, our upward soaring adoration can become an everyday reality. Our adoration soars upward because we run out of words to express our thankfulness. When we come to the foot of the cross and see the magnitude of Christ’s suffering done for us, our adoration takes us out of our present tangible attachment to the world. We may not always live in a state of upward soaring adoration because the dark power comes against us and seeks to destroy our abilities to adore Him. However, we can stand firm against the dark power as we count the blessings we have in Christ our Savior.
