About
love and happiness beyond reason…
1
Tim. 1:17
Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory
for ever and ever. Amen.
On
the surface, a doubter has a reason to doubt. After all, believing in an
immortal being called God, a being we cannot see when we are mortal can be kind
of a stretch of the intellect. On the surface, a sensible person can more easily
believe other beings are like themselves. On the surface, a sensible person can
more easily believe in what can be only seen with the eye, touched with the
hand, and heard with the ear. On the surface, a sensible being can more easily
believe all beings are mortal and all beings will have an end. On the surface, a
sensible being can more easily believe all beings are visible. However, purely
sensible beings who believe only in what is tangible and on the surface of life
must live without a belief in love, caring, kindness, and compassion. For love,
caring, kindness and compassion are deep intangible experiences. To live in
wisdom, grace, truth, and love requires we do more than live only on the
tangible surface of life. To live in wisdom, grace, truth, and love requires we
live a deeper life and see with our mind, see with out heart, and see with our
soul. To live in wisdom, grace, truth, and love permits us to see and experience
God as love bringing joy and happiness into our life.
