About love rejoicing with the truth…(NIV)

1 Corinthians 13:6 …but love rejoices with the truth.

The truth always reveals the love and Light of God. Love rejoices in the truth because the truth always reveals the love God has for each of us. Even when the truth hurts, the hurt is not due to the truth, but the truth hurts because of the sinful nature of human beings. The truth brings us closer to God, and the truth shines the Light of His power into every dark corner. In truth and in love, there is always joy because the truth always leads us to God the Father. Love rejoices with the truth for the truth always reveals the truth about God the Father, Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
