About making progress and praising God
2 Samuel 22:47 "The Lord lives! Praise be to my Rock! Exalted be God, the Rock, my
Savior! 48 He is the God who avenges me, who puts the nations under me, 49 who sets me
free from my enemies. You exalted me above my foes; from violent men you rescued me. 50
Therefore I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations; I will sing praises to your name.

No matter where we are or what we are doing, we can make progress in small steps. For
some of us, worldly progress may come only in tiny fractions of an inch. For some people,
worldly success comes as a result their using their gifts and talents and being in the
right place at the right time. When you succeed, regardless of how small or large the
victory might be, you should praise God. When you experience a blessing, no matter how
small the blessing might be, you should praise God. When you do not have a blessing, you
should praise God for there are tons of blessings we do not see and do not count. We
should praise God for God is the one who supplies us with so many innumerable wonders and
blessings. It is God, through Christ Jesus, who pours out His blessings and His
opportunities upon us. When we give God the praise and appreciation for our small steps of
success and for our blessings both seen and unseen, we are storing up joy in heaven. When
we give God the praise and glory for our blessings, more blessings are added to what we
already have.
