Previous Daily Devotional About making sense of the incomprehensible Job 37:5 God's voice thunders in marvelous ways; he does great things beyond our understanding. (NIV) We do not know all things. We do not know why many things happen as they do. God and His ways are often shrouded in mystery. We do not always know the daily details of God's plan for our life. We walk our journey of life by faith and not by sight. When we walk by faith we must learn to trust Christ no matter how puzzling or incomprehensible some events in our life might be. We may never be able to make sense out of some things that happen, but when we have surrendered all of our life to Christ, we do not need to make sense out of all things. When we have surrendered our life to Christ, we are able to place all things in His hands and are able to trust Him to work in us and through us. In Christ, we often find the incomprehensible becomes understandable. In Christ, we find an understanding of the incomprehensible that turns to wisdom |
