Previous Daily Devotional About multiplying your power… Matthew 28:18 Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. (NIV) God
does not want you to be powerless. However, what do we do when we feel
powerless? What do we do when we cannot do? How do we find the power to move
forward when we are grounded and seemingly immobile? When we feel powerless, we
need to see reality. We need to see we already have an abundance of power to do
what God wants us to do. God loves you and He wants you to have an abundance of
His power. However, for most of us, most of the time, having God's power to do
only what God wants us to do is not enough. Most of the time, we can easily get
selfish and the power we want is the power to do whatever selfish thing we want
to do rather than doing what God wants us to do. Nevertheless, in every
circumstance, even when it seems we can do nothing at all, we have the power of
God to pray, to love, to forgive, to create, to bless, to change, to hope, and
to be humble, just to name a few of God's power centers in us. Not only do we
have God's power in us to be and to do all of these, God gives us the power to
multiply His power in us when we become or do all of these. God's power is
unlimited. In Him we always have unlimited power to pray, to love, to forgive,
to create, to bless, to change, to hope and to be humble. When we fully see and
fully understand how much of God's power we have at our disposal, even in the
worst of times, we come to understand our problem isn't lack of power but what
we are going to do with the multiples of God's power we already have. |
