When you look at the biggest picture of how things are in your life, the biggest picture can be a picture ending in the ultimate doom of death. If you obey the conventional wisdom of ignoring God and following the saying of “eat, drink, and be merry for tomorrow you die”, you miss out on the glory and grandeur of Heaven in the here and now. We miss out on the glory and grandeur of always sailing upward even when we are totally down on our luck because we lose hope and think we have no future. The love of God is a power He supplies to pull you upward toward Heaven even in your darkest hour. God gives you His love so you will sail upward toward Him in every circumstance. To have His love and sail upward, you must obey His laws of love. When you obey His laws, His commandments, His decrees, and His truth, then good things happen in your spiritual life. When you obey His love by accepting Christ into your life and heart, some day you will sail upward when your body wears out.
