Previous Daily Devotional About our battle for Christ… Rev. 12:1 A great and wondrous sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. 2 She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth. (NIV) Do you need to see a sign in the heavens? Do you need to see a woman clothed with the sun? Some of us want to see a visible victory over the darkness. Some of us pray for those who are sick, less fortunate, and lost. Some of us want to see healing for the sick. We want to see those who are lost to find Christ. We want victory over the darkness and we want it now. We want to see God vanquish Satan in a mighty visible display of power, fire, thunder, storm, or whatever it takes to put an end to Satan's reign here on earth. We want to see, not just a vision of a woman who has the moon under her feet, but we want see a total visible annihilation of Satan. We must remember we are the warriors in this battle. Every day, you are to go forth and dispel darkness. You are to bring the power of His light and love into the lives of those around you. Our battles with Satan and the darkness, the battles we wage having no visible power, fire, thunder, or storm, are what the Lord Jesus wants from His soldiers of the Cross. While we all wait for His most glorious appearing, let us all march onward to victory.
