(NIV) About our critical decisions… When we focus upon what God can do for us, rather than upon what we can do for Him, we miss out. We might not lose anything in life by having a selfish faith, but we do not gain much. To have and possess a strong faith requires that we continually be in a spirit of unselfishly serving our God. A strong faith does not demand that God serve us. This attitude of serving God or being served by God is a critical decision for you in your faith journey. We love and serve Him because He first loved and served us. |
