our glory destined by God… 1 Corinthians 2:7 No, we speak of God's
secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory
before time began. (NIV) Notice the words “destined for our glory”. God destined His secret wisdom for our glory. God did not predestine us for a great downfall in our life. God did not predestine a time in our life when we are to come apart at the seams. What God did do was predestine before time began the wisdom and secrets resulting in our glory. This wisdom God put in place before time began is to make us a whole, happy, vibrant people. His wisdom for our glory is to make us a people who have a soul singing and shouting praises to God. So why do we stand waiting and wanting before God instead of singing and shouting His praises? We stand waiting and wanting before God in sickness, disease, and desperation because we refuse to be filled with His wisdom leading to a glorious life. We refuse to live under the hand of God leading to a glorious life. We rebel from living like God wants us to live and how he wants to live. If we do what He commands, God produces His glory in us and when we die we sail to heaven to live in His glory forever.
