“Cast your eyes upon Jesus” is not just a verse from a hymn. Casting your eyes upon Jesus is the will of God. The will of God is a constructive will. The will of God is a power and force in the world. The will of God will not only bring you benefits in the world but also bring you an eternal benefit…the eternal benefit of eternal life in Heaven. All of us face a last day. All of us face death. Death is not a subject we like to think about or talk about, but death need not be the end of your existence. In fact, death can be the beginning of your life in eternal glory. Death can be the beginning of your greatest victory and triumph if you have turned away from your sin and accepted Christ as your Savior and Lord. It is by accepting Christ into your life you are able to overcome the world. By accepting Christ, even with great infirmities, you can be victorious. By accepting Christ, even when you are lame and weak, you are given the power to totally defeat every dark power. By accepting Christ, you are given the infinite. By accepting Christ as your Savior and Lord, Christ gives you the infinite beauty, the infinite love, the infinite peace, and the infinite joy of God. Because you are given the infinite by God through Christ, all things are possible. Eventually in Heaven, all things that are possible become real forever.
