Previous Daily Devotional About our indestructible Christ Matthew 26:60 Finally two came forward 61and declared, "This fellow said, `I am able to destroy the temple of God and rebuild it in three days.' " (NIV) God's power is an integral part of your life. His power is an integral part of every person's life. It is hard to tell that God even exists if we look at some of the things going on in the world. There may be times in your life when things get so difficult that you might doubt God's reality. However, God is the eternal hope. What man tried to destroy in Christ by crucifying Him, could not be destroyed. What seemed lost was renewed and not lost at all. What seemed dead was yet to live again in Christ. What evil seemed to destroy was rebuilt and restored in Christ. It is because sin tried to destroy Him and could not, that we now believe in Him. Man cannot destroy God. God is from everlasting to everlasting. When it seems all hope has vanished in your life, the power of God is not gone, but is still at work in you and at work for you. Every second you are alive upon the earth, Christ's indestructible power and force is within your grasp. This indestructible power of God is the power of His love. This indestructible power of God is the power upon which you can lean. If you are willing, Christ's indestructible power can live within your heart. What you must remember is that all present things will be destroyed but Christ and His new earth will remain. |
