our quiet time with God… Psalm 4:4 In your anger do not sin; when
you are on your beds, search your hearts and be silent. (NIV) We all need quiet times. We all have quiet times, especially at night. When we are alone in our thoughts in the evening hours, it is a time to search our hearts. When we find an area of our life that does not measure up to what God wants from us, we must be quiet and humble. In our quiet humility before God, God can speak to us, heal us, restore us, and make us into a new person. In our quiet humility before God, we can change and grow into a person reflecting Christ and His love. In our quiet humility before God, we can begin to talk to God and hear God. In our quiet time before God, we must not rise up in anger over what has happened to us, but instead we must strive to be humble. In our quiet time before God, we must remember the times when others have hurt us and we must then forgive them. In our quiet before God, we must remember others and send our thoughts of love for them up to God so God will bless them and care for them. In our quiet times before God, we must be thankful for all the mountains of blessings God pours into our life.
