Previous Daily Devotional About our vision in hopeless times… Acts 23:6 Then Paul, knowing that some of them were Sadducees and the others Pharisees, called out in the Sanhedrin, "My brothers, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee. I stand on trial because of my hope in the resurrection of the dead." All of us have limited vision. Even if our eyes are perfect, we can only see for a limited distance. Using only our natural eyes we cannot see through solid objects, and we cannot see future events. Tragically, when life seems hopeless, we have no physical vision using our physical eyes to see into a time where hope abounds. However, we do have hope. We do have spiritual eyes with the power to see into the future. Our spiritual eyes give us the ability to see a time of hope in the future. Our spiritual eyes give us the ability to see the greatness and grandeur of heaven just over the horizon. Our spiritual eyes give us the ability to see the great city of hope built of Christ's love and compassion. Our hope in Christ gives us a vision of an eternity where hope is made reality in Christ's glory. All of us can be certain we will have a day of glorious transformation in the future.
