Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God. (NIV)

Peace is precious. Peace within ourselves, peace within our family, peace within our community, workplace, state, nation, and world is the desire and will of God. When we are born, our natural state is to be at war. It is the natural human condition to be at war with God, with others, and with our selves. War, in any of its forms, is hell that invades our lives. Satan's desire is war. God's desire is peace. Make peace by surrendering all you have and all you are to Christ. In the world, war exists because Satan exerts an influence on you to make you selfish. The more selfish you become, the more of a war you must fight in your daily life. When you turn over your life to Christ, your life is no longer your own. Selfish desires begin to disappear. For your life should never be about what you want, your life should always be about what Christ wants.
