Previous Daily Devotional About peace in times of conflict and disappointment… 1Co 7:15 But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace. We live in a time of conflict between the forces of God and the forces of Satan. We live with worries over our job, our health, our family, our church, and the future state of the world. Conflict rages about us. However, we can have peace. God calls us to be a person of peace rather than a person of war. Satan does not want you to ever have any kind of peace. Satan wants you to be caught up in every kind of inner turmoil. Satan wants you to be immersed in conflict and disappointment. Satan wants upset. Satan wants total chaos to prevail within your heart, mind, and soul. However, God has different desires and goals for you. God wants you to surrender all of your conflict, all of your turmoil, and all of your inner war up to Him. Do not let Satan win. Let Christ win within you by embracing His peace. When you are being assaulted from every side and assaulted from within, pray to our Lord Jesus, call upon Him, and He will calm the raging seas and storms within you…and you will have His peace.
