About being pulled up in spirit…

Romans 8:6: For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

You are pulled up in spirit or pulled down in spirit. You control the spiritual up or down switch within you, although there is a battle going on within you over which direction the switch is to take. The temptations of the world put on you by Satan would have you push the switch down. In the down position, you continually put our mind on the carnal things of this world. Yet, if you reach up or reach inward to Christ then He will always help you push the switch to the up position, and He will give you the power to look upward to Him. Clearly, Satan wants to pull you down toward death. Christ wants to pull you up toward life everlasting and toward inner peace. If you let Christ have His way and you let Him touch you then you will have a spirit pulled upward to Him and you will have His peace.
