Previous Daily Devotional About receiving our spiritual sight from Christ… Luke 18:42 Jesus said to him, "Receive your sight; your faith has healed you." 43 Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus, praising God. (NIV) Each of us is born spiritually blind. We receive our spiritual sight from Christ because we have found faith in His love and care. Jesus commands each of us to receive our sight. If we have faith in Christ based upon love, we will no longer be blind. In real life, in real time, we are all subject to the attacks by the darkness. When we are attacked by the darkness, we can be spiritually blinded even after receiving our spiritual sight. If we are spiritually blinded by the darkness, we become spiritually lost because we cannot spiritually see. However, there is hope in Christ because we can receive our sight again. To receive our sight again after we have been blinded, we must turn away from the darkness, we must return to Jesus, and open our heart and soul to His love.
