As the Father has sent me, I am sending you." 22And with that he breathed on them and said, "Receive the Holy Spirit. 23If you forgive anyone his sins, they are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven." (NIV) When individuals receive the Holy Spirit, the manifestation of the Holy Spirit in their lives is as individual as there are people. Controversy still rages as to who has received the Holy Spirit, whether they have really received it, and whether they exhibit the signs or manifestations. What is most important, however, is whether you have opened heart. When you open your heart up to the Holy Spirit of God, the love He is then pours into you if you are willing to accept and welcome Him. Amazing transformations take place in the lives and hearts of people who receive His Spirit. Wonders are worked in Jesus’ name. Perhaps not the kind of wonders some people want to be worked, but wonders nevertheless. |
