Previous Daily Devotional About remembering what God has done Psalms 106:13 But they soon forgot what he had done and did not wait for his counsel. 14In the desert they gave in to their craving; in the wasteland they put God to the test. 15So he gave them what they asked for, but sent a wasting disease upon them. (NIV) Living a holy and devout life requires diligence and hard work. Living a righteous life requires a time of daily remembering what the Lord has done and what the Lord can do in the here and now. Do not turn away from Him. Do not put our Savior aside and expect to get to Him later. Do not put Him at the bottom of your "To Do" list. You have the power within you to always walk with Him, day and night, every day of your life. Yes, you do have this power. However, this power must be used. It must be exercised. When you encounter difficulties and hardships you may want to forget about God because you may believe God has forgotten about you. It is in these times when you must be on your knees reaching out to touch the hem of the Saviors garment. |
