About renewing your power…

Luke 6:19 and the people all tried to touch him, because power was coming from him and healing them all. (NIV)

"I am powerless. I am weak. I cannot do what I want to do. I cannot do what I need to do."

All of us have times when we are weak and we cannot do what we want to do or even what we need to do. Christ will give you power because Christ is power. Christ is spiritual power greater than any power on earth or any power in the universe. God may never give you the power you need to do your own selfish will. However, when you feel powerless, look to find the power you need in the hands of God. God will always give you the power you need to do His will. In addition, be not deceived. When you think you are powerless, you are not as powerless as you might think. As long as you are alive, you have the power to praise God, you have the power to pray, and in your power to pray you can ask God to move mountains according to His will. Whenever you cannot do what you think you need to do, focus on doing what Christ needs you to do. In doing what Christ needs you to do you will find you have untold power and resources unknown to you. In the world we have trouble. However, in Christ, we have power to over come our trouble.
