scaling the heights of adversity… Hebrews 1:9 You have loved righteousness
and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions
by anointing you with the oil of joy." (NIV) There is joy in victory. There is agony and torment in defeat. No matter how much we might want to put on a good show when we have been defeated, agony and torment still rest in our soul. With Christ, there is victory over every adversity. With Christ, in the spiritual realms in which we walk every day, we can have total and absolute victory at all times. We scale the heights of our adversity every day by always doing the right thing, always being righteous, and always living as Christ wants us to live. In achieving our victory for Christ in our adversity, Christ lifts us up over the mountains of our problems and issues because we have chosen to live a life of righteousness. When we live a righteous life, we have a joy in our heart. In our adversity, we have a joy in our heart simply because we chose to do the right thing rather than the sinful thing.
