secrets revealed… Matthew Whether we know it or not, we have the secrets to the kingdom and wisdom of God. As much as we say we do not understand God and His mysteries, we already understand most, if not all, of Christ’s secrets because those mysteries and those secrets have been revealed to us by Him. Quite often, when we say we do not understand the secrets and the mysteries, we are not honest because being honest about the secrets and wisdom of God requires we change and grow. If we are honest, we must say we really do understand the secrets and the wisdom of God but we do not want to do what His secrets and His wisdom requires us to do. When we say we do not understand His wisdom, unfortunately what we often mean is we do not want to understand, we do not want to see His truth, we do not want to do His truth, we do not want to walk His path, and we do not want to live in His light. The truth is, in our sin we would rather not understand, rather not see His truth, rather not do His truth, rather not walk His path, and rather not live in His light. However, through Him and through faith in Him we can overcome our sin. Through Christ, the deepest things of God are available to us. These deepest things of God are the spiritual truths in us that give us a joy-filled victorious life. |
