Previous Daily Devotional About
seeing Christ in our heart and soul… Psalm 104:34 May my meditation be
pleasing to him, as I rejoice in the Lord. (NIV) If
we could see Jesus, we would say He was beautiful. If we could see the glint in
His eye, His wonderful smile, His complexion, all of His countenance, we would
say He is beautiful. If we could see Him, we would experience joy. If we could
see Him, all of our pain and hurt would go away. If we could see Him, we would
be in awe. If we could see Him, we would be filled with inspiration. If we could
see Him, we would be at peace and find tranquility. If we could see Him, we
would find joyous laughter. If we could see Him… The spiritual fact is that we can see Him, not with our eyes, but with our heart and soul. When we cast aside our worldly concerns and worries, when we push back our pain and suffering, when we open our heart to His love and presence this very hour, we can indeed see Him. When we see Him with our heart and soul, we call Him wonderful and precious. When we see Him with our heart and soul, we are changed, renewed, and restored in His love. |
