21:3 "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They
will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 He
will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or
crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." (NIV) Find a quiet place. Rest, think, and pull your mind away from the present world. Walk back in time to His manger scene. In the love of that splendid hour there came to earth a little baby who will take away all mourning, all crying, and all the pain of this life. Look into His little eyes and see His love transforming the world. Look upon Mary and Joseph, hear the silence of this sacred hour that brings peace on earth and goodwill to all people everywhere. Touch His little hand and feel the healing love of the Father. Touch His little chin and feel His fountain of grace pouring over you. Pick Him up and gently hold Him in your arms. Feel the new life in Him and feel the new life in you. Look at Him and see your eternity. There are times and circumstances in your life when you can be overcome by the grief of life. But when you hold Him in your heart there appears to you a new day full of wonder, joy, and peace. When you hold Him you will find He has come to give you freedom and joy. When you hold Him you will find He has come to give you happiness beyond imagination. He has come to heal your wounds. He has come to erase all your transgressions. Hold Him now and find life and love overflowing within you.
