About seeking the Lord's touch…

Luke 5:12 While Jesus was in one of the towns, a man came along who was covered with leprosy. When he saw Jesus, he fell with his face to the ground and begged him, "Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean." 13 Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. "I am willing," he said. "Be clean!" And immediately the leprosy left him. (NIV)

The Lord is your creator. The Lord touched you and formed you inside your mother's womb, making you a child of God. God even knew you before you were created. It is through God and His touch upon your soul that you have your being. God is the supplier of your life. All persons were brought into being from His touch. Because God brought you into being and gave you life, He wants you to someday see Him. Your Father wants to see you in Heaven. It is through His touch upon your heart and His touch of love so divine that you can see Jesus face to face someday. In God's love, He tries every second to touch you, especially in your hour of need. God tries to touch the heart of every person on earth. In His love, God tries to touch all the nations of the world. If your heart is willing and open to Him, God will show you that His love is boundless, that His care is infinite, that His mercy is without end, and that His compassion knows no end. All of these divine attributes are found when you kneel at the Cross. If you ask Him, God will come into your heart and touch you so you know you are truly, at this moment, resting in His arms. Seek His forgiveness and He will remove the blinders from your eyes and you will see. Come before Him in true humility and rest forever in His touch…His touch that is so real.
