About the shadows of our will…

1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (NIV)

The darkness within our life seeks to destroy our will and turn our will into the complacency of a helpless victim. The light of Christ within our life seeks to restore and renew our will into the power of victory. Our will can be controlled and directed when we live in the full flush of victory. All of us have battles with the darkness. In our battle with the darkness, we must assert, before Christ our Savior, we will never permit our will to live in the shadows of our darkness. All of us must make an overt choice to exert our ability to discipline ourselves when the darkness tries to take away our power. The greatest victories of life do not come in sports, business, or other human endeavors. The greatest victories in life come when we stand and fight against the power of darkness wanting us to give up and give in. There are no roaring crowds to celebrate our victories of the will. There is, however, the Creator, our Lord Jesus in heaven, who celebrates our victories as He prepares for us a victor's mansion.
