Previous Daily Devotional About soaking up the invisible love of God… Romans 5:5 And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. (NIV) We live in a tangible world. We live in an audio-visual world. For many, if they can't see it they don't believe it or won't believe it. Yet, we are also spiritual beings. Although it is sometimes hard to tell, we are all inherently believers in God. Our world is full of the invisible. Invisible light rays, invisible radio waves, invisible television waves, invisible microwaves, even electricity is invisible. Our techno world is powered by what we cannot see. However, in the world of what we cannot see there is the love of God pouring down upon us from Heaven. To live more fully and live more freely, open your heart and mind to soak up the invisible love of God. Your heart and mind is like a sponge under your control. When your life is dry, vacant, and empty, you can soak up the invisible love of God. You can open your heart and mind to feel His love. When you open up your heart and mind to feel His love, you can absorb His love. With Christ, even when you live in a tangible world, there is no limit to how much of His intangible love you can absorb.
