About the fear of God…

Deuteronomy 6:13 Fear the LORD your God, serve him only and take your oaths in his name. (NIV)

In God’s system of preservation, He gave you the ingredient of fear to keep you safe. For example, God put in you or others a fear of wild animals or deadly snakes so you would survive. The are many things in life for which you and others should have a healthy fear. The most healthy fear of all is the fear of God, for when you have the fear of God in you then you will not so much be afraid of God as you will be afraid of doing what displeases God. When you do what displeases God, there is a major consequence to making God unhappy. The major consequence is the act of destroying yourself in sin and degradation. However, when you do what pleases God there are bountiful blessings awaiting you in this time and place on earth as well as awaiting you heaven.
