Previous Daily Devotional About thoughts for repentance… Acts 11:18 When they heard this, they had no further objections and praised God, saying, "So then, God has granted even the Gentiles repentance unto life." (NIV) We all fall down in our mistakes and in our sin. However, Christ understands us and He forgives us if we turn away from our mistakes and embrace Him within our heart. When we turn to Christ, He will come in love to heal our wounds and erase our iniquities. We have made grievous mistakes. When we admit to God we have committed sins and made mistakes, God pours out His mercy upon us and He brings us His calm assurance and love. When we tell God we are sorry for what we have done, He erases our past and gives us a bright and shining new land to inherit. Although we might want to undo what we have done when we turn away from our mistakes, Christ helps us use our mistakes to gain wisdom and to build a new tomorrow from our wisdom. When we turn away from our sin, Christ comes to us and gives a new path to follow. When we fully see how we have lived in the madness of the world, Christ comforts us by giving us His healing wisdom and love of which there is no equal. When we kneel at the foot of Christ’s cross, all the bitterness in our heart is turned to love as we turn away from our sin, turn away from our mistakes, and accept Him as our Lord and Savior.
