About times when God reveals His presence…
Psalm 139:7 Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your
presence? 8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the
depths, you are there. 9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the
far side of the sea, 10 even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will
hold me fast. (NIV)
In this life, we live our life only as a solitary being. No matter how many
people we know, or how many family members we have, or how many people do or say
they love us, we are still just one person living within the shell we call our
body. In the myriad connections of our life that we call relationships, there is
one major relationship that feeds us love…that relationship is our connection
to God. God reveals His love in our life by continually feeding us love in small
and quiet ways. It is great and grand to be continually in the presence of God.
However, in our solitary walk through life there are times when it seems we are
not walking in the presence of God. God is with us from the time of our
conception to the time we see Him in eternity, yet there are times when it seems
He is somewhere other than where we are. There are times when it seems we think
God has forgotten us. There are times when it seems there is only us in the
world and no one else. In the tough times of life, God reveals His presence in
your life if you would just ask Him to do so. In the tough times of life, God
reveals His presence in your life when you are honest and tell Him you need Him
to be with you. In the tough times of life, God reveals His presence in your
life when all seems lost.
