"Still waters" means "drinking water" for sheep. Sheep will only drink from a pool or stream of still water. God leads us to His living water so we will never ever be thirsty. His living water keeps our spirits alive. His living water causes His sheep to praise Him. When you let God lead you to His living water then you will never be thirsty again. When you drink from His stream of living water you will never be at a loss again. Even when you have an earthly loss, His living water sustains you through the dry periods of your grief. When you let Him lead you, the living water of His love replenishes and sustains you. Prayer
