Tuesday's Daily Devotional About Christ's beams of forgiveness… Matthew 6:14 For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. (NIV) We are caught in the darkness of our
guilt. We are caught in the imprisonment of our sins. However, Christ Jesus came
back from the tomb in a blast of Holy Spirit power and energy to touch us with
His forgiveness. Just as Christ forgave those who persecuted Him, Christ comes
to us and brings us the healing touch of His divine forgiveness. In the beams of
Christ's forgiveness, our guilty stains of sin are washed away. As we turn our
life over to Him and forgive others, the Light of His forgiveness erases the
painful emotions emerging from our guilt. Christ's beams of forgiveness reach
into every part of our soul if we are willing to forgive our debtors. His beams
of forgiveness call us to surrender all we have and all we are to Him. Christ's
beams of forgiveness set us free from every dark entanglement. We make many
mistakes. We fall down because we are a sinner. Yet, no matter how far down we
fall, Christ comes to us. Christ comes to us shining His forgiving love over us
and we are cleansed from all our unrighteousness. Prayer
