About the touch of God upon your life Isaiah 45:1"This is what the Lord says to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I take hold of to subdue nations before him and to strip kings of their armor, to open doors before him so that gates will not be shut: 2 I will go before you and will level the mountains; I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron. 3 I will give you the treasures of darkness, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, who summons you by name. (NIV) Sometimes you think you can't go on in life. Sometimes you think you just can't do all the things you are supposed to do in your daily life or daily walk. Sometimes you get so overwhelmed and burdened under in life you can't tell which way is up. We all have those kinds of days. Some of us have those kinds of extended periods in our life. When you have these kinds of moments in your life, you can invite Christ into your life and you find His most amazing power. When you invite Christ to touch your life by opening your heart to Him and by kneeling at His Cross, wonderful and great things begin happening. How God produces wonderful and great things in our life we do not always know. The specific mechanism of how God can lift all our burdens and sins from us is one of His loving mysteries that blesses us even when we do not always have all the answers. In all our days of trying to walk the path God has for us, we can always be sure He will touch our life if we want Him to do so. We can all live a life touched by God. No person on earth ever need live a life that is without the touch of God. In all His many works and wonders, the greatest work and the greatest wonder of all, is that God will touch every life that seeks His face. We may not receive the touch of Christ the way we want it, but we will receive His touch in a way that blesses our life and blesses Christ's will for our present and future. Praise God we have such a friend in Jesus, a friend who will always touch our life when we need Him the most. |
