Throughout history, nations rise and fall, live and die. In all the hours of your prayer life, remember to seek God's blessed touch upon your nation. However grim the world stage may look at any moment, God can touch the heart of a nation just like He can touch the heart of a person. God will bless the nation that truly opens its heart up to His touch. This does not mean a godly nation is forever protected from the darkness and evil that prowls about seeking to destroy. This does mean that a godly nation, truly on its knees to do the will of God and only His will, will never rise up to destroy its own people or destroy the lives of those people who do not threaten the life of that nation. A godly nation will be touched by God and will open the floodgates of creative spirit, imagination, inventiveness, growth, and unlimited hope for a better tomorrow for every citizen. A godly nation, a nation truly touched by God, will turn from every corruption and uphold only those upright leaders who reflect the hopes and dreams of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness that live in the heart of every person. |
