The idea of touching the world sounds ludicrous on the surface. Of course, we can all touch the ground beneath us, but touching the world is not about touching the physical earth. Touching the world is about using your heart, mind, and soul in prayer. When you touch the world by praying for the world, your prayer reaches up to God, and through Him, what you seek in prayer is answered. If you pray for God to wrap His hands around the world, then He does answer. In ways you cannot see or know, God reaches into the life of people who you could never reach. When you pray for God to wrap His hands around the world, then tiny sparkles of His love and compassion spring up in the heart of those persons who never feel love and compassion. When you pray for the world, you touch the world. When you pray for the world things happen in the world to bring the world closer to God. In supernatural ways, when you pray for the world, not only do you touch the world through God, God works within you so He touches the world through you. (Although I will never meet you or know you, I pray for you each day. I trust God to answer my prayer for you. I pray you are wrapped up in His hands, His healing light pours down upon you, His healing love immerses you, His healing touch restores you, His healing love falling down upon you gives you peace. I pray His angels full of love surround and protect you. I pray His power is always over you, under you, and all around you. I pray He gives you the power to be His witness and show His love. I pray you would always be in His love and grace.)
