About transcending the impossible…

Matthew 19:26 Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." (NIV)

What is impossible for human beings is no big deal for God. What looks impossible to us is nothing at all to God. When we strive to achieve what appears to be impossible and fail, in the will of God, we may indeed have already achieved the impossible in His eyes. We have human ideas about what is possible and impossible. We have human ideas about what is wanted and needed. We even have human ideas about what is wanted and needed by God. However, God has the ability to see the past, the present, the future, and how all things relate to each other in ways we cannot see. Every time you pray, you transcend the impossible as you talk to God. You may pray for the impossible to happen and in your lifetime what you prayed for may not happen. However, your human vision is limited. Your human knowledge is limited. If you could see God's action as a result of your praying, and how He works in ways unknown to you, then you would see how every time you pray you transcend the impossible in God's eyes. Just the fact you pray in faith and pray in total and complete humility may be your greatest feat in transcending the impossible.
