About transformation Romans 6:4 We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. (NIV) The daily grind of life is called a grind because it grinds you down. You are ground down by all the day to day responsibilities, jobs, and endless details of life. These endless details can dull and numb your senses. Sometimes you can be so ground down that you can lose your self, lose your identity, lose your sense of proportion, and lose your connection to God. When you are near the bottom of the pits of life, you need to be transformed. It is through Christ that you can be transformed or made new. When you come to realize that Christ gave all He was for you, and you then give up all you are for Him, then a transformation begins to take place. When you give up your life for Him, He replaces your old life with a new life. When your new life begins, the old life goes away, and you are transformed. |
