Previous Daily Devotional About
trusting in the past… Luke
21:15 For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be
able to resist or contradict. (NIV) There are lessons to be learned from our past if we are humble enough to learn them. There is wisdom to be gained from our past if we are humble enough to gain the wisdom. We have available to us so many facts and so much data from the past we could never begin to accumulate the facts and data. History can be our greatest teacher if we would only commit to being a lifelong student. As a humble child of God, the lessons of your past can teach you to be more loving and kind. As a humble child of God, the lessons of your past can teach you to be more compassionate and kind. As a humble child of God, the lessons of your past can teach you to always seek God's wisdom first and foremost. As a humble child of God, the lessons of your past can teach you over and over the sweet old lesson about how Christ died to set you free.
