Previous Daily Devotional This Devotional Is Part Of A Special Continuing Series Related To Dependency And Co-dependency Issues. Rules Of Godly Common Sense Apply. About trying to provoke people's anger in order to control them… James 1:20 for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires. (NIV) To provoke others to anger disrespects them and demeans them. To provoke others to anger is the opposite of showing love, caring, kindness, and compassion. Trying to control another person is far away from the will of God. Trying to control another person by provoking the person to anger is even further away from the will of God. All of us are sinners. We must all be totally and brutally honest about who we are and what we do. If we see we are provoking others to anger in order to control them we must immediately stop this sinful practice. All of us must do all we can to move toward God and live in His presence every moment. |
