About a glad heart and a rejoicing tongue…

Lord, you have assigned me my portion and my cup; you have made my lot secure. † The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance. † I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. † I have set the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. † Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, † because you will not abandon me to the grave, nor will you let your Holy One see decay. † You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. † Hear, O Lord, my righteous plea; listen to my cry. Give ear to my prayer-- it does not rise from deceitful lips. † The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. † The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes. † The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The ordinances of the Lord are sure and altogether righteous. † Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy. † For the word of the Lord is right and true; he is faithful in all he does. †
