About a great light…

"Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his. † He changes times and seasons; he sets up kings and deposes them. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. † He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him. † Nevertheless, there will be no more gloom for those who were in distress. † The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned. † I thank and praise you, O God of my fathers: You have given me wisdom and power, you have made known to me what we asked of you, you have made known to us the dream of the king." † since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. † For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse. † For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.
