About acknowledging Christ has come in the flesh…

And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us. † Those who obey his commands live in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us. † Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. † This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, † No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. † We know that we live in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. † And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. † But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed. † If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.
