About being at peace and joyful in hope…

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. † Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God. † May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels." † For the sake of my brothers and friends, I will say, "Peace be within you." † For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek your prosperity. † Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. † Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. † Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality. † Do not allow what you consider good to be spoken of as evil. † For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, † because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and approved by men. † And again, Isaiah says, "The Root of Jesse will spring up, one who will arise to rule over the nations; the Gentiles will hope in him." † May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. †
