About Christ as the Way to God…

Place the cover on top of the ark and put in the ark the Testimony, which I will give you. There, above the cover between the two cherubim that are over the ark of the Testimony, I will meet with you and give you all my commands for the Israelites. The Holy Spirit was showing by this that the way into the Most Holy Place had not yet been disclosed as long as the first tabernacle was still standing. And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit. At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook and the rocks split. Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. …and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in his blood. He did this to demonstrate his justice, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished--  For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.

Verse References In The Order Presented Above --  Exodus 25:21-22 ; Hebrews 9:8 ; Matthew 27:50-51 ; Hebrews 10:19-20 ; Hebrews 10:22 ; Hebrews 4:16 ; Romans 3:24-25 ; Ephesians 2:18 ;

These words from God were written by God, arranged by Rev. Louis Klopsch (1906), and posted to the world wide web by Rev. Patrick Kelly
