About glory and fear…

And your fame spread among the nations on account of your beauty, because the splendor I had given you made your beauty perfect, declares the Sovereign Lord. † Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in his ways. † You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours. † 

Kings take pleasure in honest lips; they value a man who speaks the truth. † May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us; establish the work of our hands for us -- yes, establish the work of our hands. † And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. † Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed--not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence--continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, † for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose. † May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, † encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.
