About waiting on Jesus to come back…

Hebrews 9:28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him. (NIV)

When Jesus comes back we will be full of joy when we see Him. Waiting on Jesus to come back means we believe in Him and we look forward in faith and hope to see Him. Some people today are not in a spirit of waiting because they tragically do not believe in Him and do not hope in Him. Some people today are not in a spirit of waiting because their hearts have hardened and they cannot see past their present time of grief and turmoil. Some people today don’t want to see Him because they are living a sin-filled life. Because they have not accepted Him, many people are afraid of Him. Because they do not love Him enough to invite Him into their heart and life, many people today dread the day He comes back. Because of the sin-filled lives they lead, many people today do not want to think about Jesus coming back to us. However, if you accept Him into your heart and life, and if strive to fully live in righteousness then you can look forward, look onward, and look upward into the skies. If you continually strive to live as He has called you to live, He will, even now, reach down and pull you up out of the mess of your life. If you trust Him, if you trust Him with all your heart and soul, then you can eagerly look forward and you can rejoice today, tomorrow, and forever in eager anticipation of His return. O Happy Day! O Happy Day! He is coming back! O Happy Day!
