Previous Daily Devotional About wanting to live… Matthew 12:21 In his name the nations will put their hope. (NIV) If you pile upon someone years or even a lifetime of suffering then a person's will to live begins to weaken. When all a person has in his or her future is another day of pain and hardship, the person's will to live begins to soften. When you face pain, suffering, or insurmountable physical circumstances, you must work to keep your will to live a strong and vibrant force within you. The flame of life is hope. Our reason for being and our reason for living is grounded in hope. If we see no hope for things being better in the future, we do not want to see the future. All of us have an incredible hope for tomorrow in Christ. We have incredible hope for our future because all of us are either in the final moments before Christ's return to earth or in the final moments before we see Him in heaven. The spiritual war around us is raging. God needs you now more than ever. God needs you to be loving, kind, caring, and righteous. Christ needs you to witness to others about His coming soon. In this hour of darkness upon the world, we must see His light and love or millions will be forever lost in the darkness. Above all, every second, want to live for Him. |
